Well you may all of heard by now but JIPC just didn't happen. If the warning bells of absolutely no Hari Raya JIPC Facebook promotions didn't sound the warning bells then maybe the news that Dynasty had a little team punch up at PSP may have made you think that maybe the Pro teams weren't going to make an appearance. Anyway it seems Puan Rafiah Mohd Isa, the General Manager of USAHA ALAM HIJAU SDN BHD, the company behind the JIPC event disappeared during Hari Raya wasn't returning emails or calls from the paintball vendors who had been invited to help organise the event. Fearing the worst, all the paintball vendors put the breaks on at the 11th hour cancelling their invovement with the event - this left a lot of teams who had pre-paid registration and for paint scratching their heads about how to get their money back since it had already been given to SAHA ALAM HIJAU.
Since then only a few teams sound like they have successfully got refunds so let's hope all the teams do. It's not the first time this sort of thing has happened but every time it does, it makes it even harder for promoters to get the player's support that they need for future events.
