The first WPPL event for the season was held at the Werd Training Facility, Puching, Malaysia over 2 weekends starting the March 2 and ending March 10, 2013. The first weekend featured Division 4 (v3.2) and Division 3 (V4.2) tournaments with Division 2 (5.2) and Division 1 (5.2) playing the following weekend.

It was no suprise that once again two of the best teams in the league, DRX and Raskals once again faced off in the Division 1 Finals. Raskals defeated Muar Royal City and DRX defeated Disturbance in their respective Semi Final draws. In the best of the 3 Final, DRX, part of the Delta Rovers club, fended off a determined Raskal's team to take the WPPL Leg 1 title.
