Nemesis win MPOC 2013 Leg 1

nemesis pb

Jan 21, 2013 - Nemesis Legion continued their dominance of the MPOC series by winning Division 1 at the first leg of the Malaysian Official Paintball Circuit (MPOC), played at Xtion Paintball Park in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia over weekend.

MPOC implemented the American Paintball Player's Association (APPA) registration and ranking system this season which should make it easier to track the results of teams in Asia. A total of 43 teams were registered for MPOC Leg 1 but only 6 teams were entered in Division 1, so cost of playing combined with few sponsorship opportunities seems to be an ongoing issue preventing many Division 2 teams taking the leap to Division 1. Other divisions were well represented with Division 4 continuing to be the most popular division with 16 novice teams entered.

Here are the final results of MPOC Leg 1:

Division 1
Champions - Nemesis Legion
2nd - Beez Waxers
3rd - Raskal
4th - Demonz

Division 2
Champions - Throne
2nd - Waxers Legion
3rd - Kraken
4th - Rupublik CMX

Division 3
Champions - JS
2nd - Duckside
3rd - Legio X
4th - Tallybun Warrior

Division 4
Champions - Waxers Hornet
2nd - Ghost Cobra
3rd - Duck Vader
4th - KTM X Bow
